Wow, it 'has' been a long time since I posted

And wow, she's beautiful. I am breathtooked every time I see her. Mmmm. She calls it her fat, Prednisone face.

Anyway, we be's up here in Louisville, KY at her parents for the holidays. We came for Christmas and extended our stay until next Tuesday because I have some bidniz ta handle down in NEGA, so we plan to head back down through there and visit my mom, my sister, and Butch.

I am really glad that her parents and I get along so well. I really like them. I got to meet her sister and her boyfriend along with several other family-types at various gatherings. So far, I like everyone I've met. I have already been stunned at how much Emily is like me, which is awesome and frustrating at the same time. But, the frustration is akin to growing pains to me. I am quite ok with it. Anyway, to finish that thought, I have been further stunned at how much her dad and I have the same sense of humor. It's more than that, though. At first, it was like, 'we have the same sense of humor'. Then, it was quickly apparent that it was more like, 'we actually think alike'. An example is the stoopid small things like the way I/we say Target like it's a French word, Tar-zhay.

I found the coolest new band the other day, while looking for V8 powered motorcycles. The Boss Hoss, they is a German country/rockabilly band.

I think I am done writing. It is as it usually is, I sit down with a laundry list of things to write and get half way through it before I lose it and fergit, mostly due to lack of interest. So, now I will get back to the very involved activities of an old, retired, cripple. Jack and I have some planning to do fer dinner. Jack is Emily's dad. Emily is going to go eat dinner with a friend of hers and her mom isn't planning to be home until 8 or so. So, the menfolk is left to fend fer themselves.
